Probate advice can be offered once a death has occurred and you need to obtain a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration. Document Storage

Document storage is an important part in keeping your documents safe after we have drafted documents for you. They need to be kept safe in a waterproof and fireproof environment. With Wills only the originals are allowed at proving the Will (probate) so if you store at home and lose them or they get damaged, it causes problems and defeats the reason for drafting one. We use a secure purpose built Will/document storage facility. For information please get in contact.

Capacity assessments 

To enable us to be able to draft a Will, Power of Attorney or any legal document we need to be sure that you have capacity to understand what you are about to do and you are not under duress or the influence of others to do anything. We are fully trained in assessing capacity, and if it is a grey area can call on specialist consultants to aid proving our case. There are additional professional fees for these services should we need to utilise them.
